plants as a site of knowledge / Filmprogramm (vor Ort und Online), Billboard-Intervention und Workshop
Patricia Esquivias, Hanna Rullmann & Faiza Ahmad Khan, Shireen Seno, Tin Wilke & Miguel Goya, Pille-Riin Jaik, Birgit Lahner. Kuratiert von / Curated by Enar de Dios Rodríguez und Marlies Pöschl, The Golden Pixel Cooperative

Since 2023, the FLUCC has been used by COMMON ROOMS as a laboratory for art production and community-based art. With the further development into the Center for Arts & Communities. Kultur-Anker-Zentrum and the  opening of the FLUCC for daytime activities, a multifunctional, low-threshold usable space is to be created. Collaborative artistic practices of activist, ecosocial, anti-capitalist, anti-racist, queer, feminist origin will develop participatory art projects with communities and neighborhoods.

Since 2007, the exhibition format IN DER KUBATUR DES KABINETTS has been running monthly in various formations and collaborations such as Office Ukraine, Wien Woche, KulturKontakt Austria, Foto Wien, Vienna Artweek, the AIR program Body Embedding or through contributions by guest curators, collectives, other Viennese artist-run spaces and art universities. The billboards on the FLUCC’s exterior wall act as a display of artistic visuals and sounds in the outdoor space.

Is collective and collaborative togetherness the alternative way of life for possible futures? Social connections emerge on the basis of shared experiences. For the annual program of  IN DER KUBATUR DES KABINETTS, the FLUCC has invited curator:ing, collectives and collaborations to develop projects and participatory workshops on "Working in the Collective", "Schools of the Future", "Cooperatives for the Common Good".

FLUCC. Center for Arts & Communities. Kultur-Anker-Zentrum emerged in 2002 as Fluc from a transdisciplinary artist initiative. Art that enters into an urban dialogue in an intermedial, socio-cultural, sound-political, gender-conscious and multidiverse way has been a fixed component of FLUCC since the beginning through projects such as FlucQuader-Kunsthalle Praterstern, Transformer I and II, Artmapping I and II as well as Urban Signs. Local Strategies and Transcultural Emancipation.
